Membership
You are welcome to call in at the club anytime, where you are assured a warm welcome. So come and have a relaxing drink and discuss becoming a member. Don't forget the club is your club and is there for the benefit of all the people of Croesyceiliog and the local area,
To become a member of just the Club itself, you have to be over 18. Membership fees as April 2014 are as follows:

Full Member - £5.00

Senior Citizen (60 & over) - £2.50
Fees are payable in April.

Woodland Road Sports and Social Club has several areas where you can sit back and relax. These include:
Bar
Bar prices are very reasonable with all the popular beers and lagers available. There are also one or two guest real ales available every week and a variety of bottled beers and drinks. Wine is sold by the bottle or glass and there is a wide variety of spirits and soft drinks.
Opening times are as follows:

Monday to Thursday – 7.00pm - 11.00pm

Friday – 7.00pm - 11.45pm

Saturday & Sunday – 1.00pm - 11.00pm
Children under 14 are welcome, but are only allowed to stay until 8.00pm.
The bar also caters to the hirers of the Main Hall, for events such as weddings, family and social occasions. For details of hiring the Main Hall visit www.Woodlandroadtrust.org.uk.

Lounge
The Lounge has comfortable bench seating and individual chairs and tables. There is a large screen television for watching sporting events such as 'Six Nations Rugby' etc. The Trophy cabinet houses several Trophies and Shields as won by the affiliated Clubs. The Crib teams meet here on Tuesday evenings.
Pool Room
The games room has a competition pool table and darts playing area.
The club runs two pool teams on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Both teams compete in the Cwmbran and District League. New players are always welcome.
There is a television situated over the notice board for watching ESPN sports and Freeview channels.
Balcony
The balcony area is accessed from the games room, with good views of the rugby, cricket and football pitches, ideal for spectators who wish to support their team and enjoy a drink at the same time.
